Dr. Chris Dakhil, a Wichita native, obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas – Kansas City. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kansas between 2006 and 2009, during which time he was named Intern of the Year after completion of his first year.
Dr. Dakhil then completed a three-year fellowship in Hematology/Oncology from 2009 to 2012 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he served as Chief Fellow in his final year. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Dakhil is dedicated to clinical research and serves as a Principal Investigator of the Wichita NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP), a National Cancer Institute sponsored research program.
Dr. Dakhil joined the Cancer Center of Kansas in 2012 and looks forward to continuing the legacy of quality cancer care at CCK, both in Wichita and around his home state.
