CCK Wellington Office Relocates

On Wednesday, January 2, 2019 the Cancer Center of Kansas (CCK) Wellington office opened its doors to its newly-remodeled space for oncology patients at 507 E 16th Street within Suite 1 of the Sumner County Family Patient Care Center.   CCK was previously located in the Sumner Regional Medical Center recently acquired by a Kansas City firm. Dr. Christopher Dakhil, board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, is the oncologist who has been and will continue to provide oncology and hematology care to patients in the Wellington and surrounding areas. He is backed by our trained oncology nurses and staff who will be in the clinic daily caring for patients.

CCK brings together a team of 13 total board certified oncologists/hematologist and one radiation oncologist, along with trained nurses and staff who serve the state of Kansas by treating and caring for patients in over 20 locations.  CCK is part of the Wichita National Cancer Institute (NCI) Community Oncology Research Program, which is one of only 46 cancer research programs currently funded by the NCI, providing its physicians with access to the latest anti-cancer agents and treatments available in the country.  This ensures patients in Wellington and all other rural CCK locations have access to the same quality care as patients in large urban cities across the country.
