KAKE News and Telemundo Kansas Feature Dr. Dennis Moore in COVID-19 Booster Segments

KAKE News and Telemundo Kansas recently featured Cancer Center of Kansas physician Dr. Dennis Moore, who serves patients at Wesley Medical Center, Ascension Via Christi and numerous other Kansas hospitals, in segments on the COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for immunocompromised individuals. Dr. Moore notes that the initial data shows booster shots could be needed as soon as 6-8 months after your most recent shot regardless of your immune system health and that everyone should be prepared to get one. Sedgwick County is now offering the booster shot to certain immunocompromised individuals who have already had their initial first two doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, with the possibility to be open for the general public in the coming weeks.

Cancer Center of Kansas is proud to now be offering the Moderna booster at our Wichita Main Office to all qualifying patients. For more information, please reach out to our CCK Covid-19 Coordinator at 316-268-1248.
