KAKE News Features Dr. Dennis Moore in a Follow Up COVID-19 Segment For Mixing Vaccine and Booster Shots

KAKE News recently featured Cancer Center of Kansas physician Dr. Dennis Moore in a segment on mixing and matching Covid-19 booster shots after the FDA approved the Johnson and Johnson and Moderna booster shots on October 20th, 2021, and says mixing vaccine brands is safe. Dr. Moore had no reservations mixing them and initially received the Pfizer vaccine and then received the Moderna Booster. Either way, he wants people to know it’s safe, and the most important thing is to just get the vaccine. Sedgwick county is continuing to offer the booster to anyone 65 years and older, 18 years and older with underlying conditions, or 18 years and older with increased risk of COVID-19 due to your workplace.

Cancer Center of Kansas is proud to be offering both Moderna and Johnson and Johnson boosters at our Wichita Main Office to all qualifying patients. For more information, please reach out to our CCK Covid-19 Coordinator at 316-268-1248.
