Bringing Innovation to the Midwest: 18th Annual Mid-America Cancer Symposium Returns in 2025

We are pleased to announce that The Cancer Center of Kansas, in collaboration with McKesson Specialty Health, will once again co-host the 18th Annual Mid-America Cancer Symposium in August 2025. This premier event has a long-standing tradition of excellence, previously drawing more than 100 respected cancer physicians, 200 pharmaceutical industry professionals, and attendees from across the Midwest to Wichita.

The symposium is designed for healthcare providers who treat cancer patients, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, internists, pathologists, and other specialists from Kansas and surrounding states. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in cancer care while fostering discussion and collaboration among peers. Leading experts from the field will guide sessions and share their knowledge and strategies for improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Shaker Dakhil, President of The Cancer Center of Kansas, shared, “This is a great way to transfer knowledge among peers and exemplifies our commitment to bringing the latest and best treatments directly to our community.”

We are proud to continue showcasing Kansas as a hub for cancer education, innovation, and research—and are honored to keep this vital event rooted in our state.

We look forward to another successful and impactful symposium!
