Available Positions

  • Receptionist - (Wichita, KS) - Full Time

    Full-Time (40 hours): Responsible for greeting patients and visitors into the clinic in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. Acts as the Patient Ambassador, making sure patients are delivered to their appropriate appointment. Serves as liaison between patient and medical staff.

    • Collects co-pays and issues receipts for payment.
    • Sends co-pays and required Business Office documents to Main Office for reconciliation.
  • Authorization Clerk- (Wichita, KS) - Full Time

    Full-Time (40 hours): Under general supervision, obtain referrals for all offices for scheduled office visits, labs, scans or any other service as required. Obtain prior authorization for scans, labs, subsequent chemotherapy visits or any other service as required. Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers, insurance companies and referring doctor offices.

    • Knowledge of insurance authorization processes, medical billing and collection practices.
    • Knowledge of insurance agency operation procedures and policies.
    • Knowledge of drugs and supplies utilized.
    • Knowledge of ICD 10 coding.
  • Medical Assistant - (Wichita, KS) - Full Time

    Full-Time (40 hours): Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties. Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e., exams, procedures and patient education.

  • Patient Registration Representative - (Wichita, KS) - Full Time

    Full-Time (40 hours): Under general supervision, is responsible for insurance verification and eligibility, assessment of patient financial requirements, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments. Obtains and maintains accurate patient demographics.

    • Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices.
    • Knowledge of insurance agency operation procedures and policies.
    • Knowledge of governmental, legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities.
    • Knowledge of drugs and supplies utilized.
    • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
  • Data Specialist - (Wichita, KS) - Full Time

    Full-Time (40 hours): To provide support for and to maintain day to day activities related to clinical trials (such as support to nursing and management staff) while supporting the goals and mission of Cancer Center of Kansas, P.A. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of job. The Data Specialist position is essential to the productivity of the research department.

    • Familiarity with chart review and medical terminology.
    • Experience with computer data entry and database management.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Research Nurse (Wichita, KS) - Full Time

    Full-Time (40 hours): To conduct research studies according to protocol and regulatory requirements. The ultimate goal of the Research Nurse is to protect the patients who participate in research studies. The Research Nurse also promotes good clinical practices within the research team.

    • Degree in Nursing
    • Knowledge of oncology terminology.
    • Knowledge of clinical protocols.
    • Ability to assimilate and analyze data.
    • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Registered Nurse (Wichita, KS) - Full-time

    Full-time (40 hours): Qualified RN, with good IV skills to administer chemotherapy in an outpatient, busy, multi-physician oncology practice in Wichita, KS. Assures correct medication dosage form, strength, and quantity as per physician order.  Assesses patients for current condition, including labs, and side effects from current therapy.  New graduates are welcome to apply. 

    • Degree in Nursing.
    • Experience with venipuncture technique.
    • Current CPR required.
  • Registered Nurse (Liberal, KS) - Full-time

    Full-time (40 hours): Qualified RN, with good IV skills to administer chemotherapy in an outpatient, busy, multi-physician oncology practice in Liberal, KS. Assures correct medication dosage form, strength, and quantity as per physician order.  Assesses patients for current condition, including labs, and side effects from current therapy.  New graduates are welcome to apply. 

    • Degree in Nursing.

  • Registered Nurse (Dodge City, KS) - Full-time

    Full-time (40 hours): Qualified RN, with good IV skills to administer chemotherapy in an outpatient, busy, multi-physician oncology practice in Dodge City, KS.
