Quoc V. Truong, MD
Medical Oncologist / HematologistDr. Truong, a native of Wichita, received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita in 2005. Dr. Truong then worked as a hospitalist at Wesley Medical Center from 2005 to 2010. Subsequently, he completed a three-year fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at West Virginia University before returning to Wichita to join the Cancer Center of Kansas team in 2013. Dr. Truong is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Dr. Truong is committed to clinical cancer research as a Principal Investigator of the Wichita NCI Community Oncology Research Program, a National Cancer Institute sponsored research program. He also serves the Wichita community in his role as a member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Board of Directors.
