Dr. Elie Chalhoub is a hematologist and medical oncologist with experience in providing expert care to cancer patients. With a career of over 7 years, Dr. Chalhoub demonstrates a commitment to advancing cancer treatment and patient well-being. In 2013 Dr. Chalhoub completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita where he served as Chief Resident. Prior, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency Preliminary Year at the Lebanese University, where he was Faculty of Medical Sciences, in his home country of Lebanon.
While completing his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Tulane University, Dr. Chalhoub excelled and was named Chief Fellow, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and excellence in patient care. After obtaining his medical degree and becoming part of the Sanford Health Joe Lueken Cancer Center in Minnesota, Dr. Chalhoub’s commitment was acknowledged through the presentation of the Sanford HERO award. Furthermore, he took on leadership responsibilities, serving as the chair of the cancer committee and assuming the role of department chair for hematology/oncology.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Chalhoub is actively involved in research and has contributed significantly to the field. He has published several manuscripts and remains committed to advancing the understanding of cancer and improving treatment outcomes through research. Dr. Chalhoub holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. Furthermore, he is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society of Hematologic Oncology, and Sedgwick County Medical Society. Dr. Chalhoub takes pleasure in quality time with family and friends, indulging in reading, engaging in basketball, and listening to music.
